Local Rank Checker for Google Maps

You are looking at a business on Google Maps. One click gets you its CID, its Map Pack rank across the whole town, or a profile score out of 100. Free, no account, and it reads nothing but the address bar.

How it works

  1. 1

Open any business on Google Maps

Yours, a prospect, or a competitor. Any listing with a name in the address bar.

  2. 2

    Click the RankLocal icon

It reads the business and the map centre straight out of the URL. Nothing is scraped and nothing is sent anywhere.

  3. 3

Do the thing you came for

Copy the CID, run a 25-point rank check across the town, or grade the profile out of 100. All free, no account.

What it does

Copy the Google CID

The number every local SEO needs and Google never shows you. Plus a one-click link straight back to the listing.

Check the Map Pack rank

Opens our free geo-grid checker with the business already filled in. Twenty-five points across the town, not one search at the front door.

Grade the profile

An instant score out of 100 across the signals Google actually weighs, with the fixes ranked by impact.

Run a full local SEO audit

The same live audit we use ourselves, on any business you are looking at. Useful for prospecting.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not inject anything into Google Maps, read the page content, or scrape categories and review counts off the screen. Everything it shows comes from the URL you can see in your own address bar. That means it asks for one permission instead of full access to google.com, it cannot break when Google changes its layout, and there is nothing for it to collect even if it wanted to.
